My name is Tommy Gantt and I am a 25 year broadcast professional in the New York City market. Over the past 25 years I have worked for multiple network broadcasters, and a variety of broadcast productions and unions. In 1993 at WNYW I joined IATSE lOCAL 794. Under the supervision of the union I mastered the Elecetronic News Production, Electronic Field Production, Satellite News Gathering and RF Microwave Signal Propagation. In 2013 at the WCBS 2NY, I joined the IBEW Locai 1212. Under their guidance, I mastered the skills of broadcasting with Cellular Bonding systems. In 2017, I joined IBEW Local 11. Local 11 helped me to master the skills of equipment setup, configuration & troubleshooting, signal routing, quality control, network switching & network distribution programing.

In 1993, I began my career in New York as an Broadcast Technician employed by WNYW FOX 5. Employed for 23 years at WNYW, I fulfilled the positions of a news photographer, microwave truck operator, KU Satellite truck operator, audio technician, lighting technician, RF Microwave technician, Ingest technician & editor.

In 2012, I began working at the CBS Broadcast Center, in the CBS 2NY local news department. At WBCS 2NY, I mastered the skills of Bonded Cellular Remote Broadcasting and Acquisitions, Digital Media Acquisitions and playouts. Manning their Transmission Opertaion Center (Microwave) I could broadcast upto 9 shows daily.

In 2015, I joined the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) as their transmission engineer. The WWE produces a road show where they remotely broadcast from any where around the globe. In transmission I would receive the remote broadcast of the live show, mix in muliple internation languages and distribute them to international broadcasters around the globe. Weekly broadcast included RAW, Tough Enough and Smack Down. In addition to their weekly programming, I also broadcasted their pay per-view events including Wrestle Mania, Royal Rumble, Summer Slam, Hell In A Cell and many others.
